A dear family member was admitted to this facility, and what a difference the intervention at The Wave has made! The admissions process was smooth and seamless, everyone was genuinely caring and concerned for her well-being, and we feel … More like she is on the right track to being able to maintain her progress even after leaving the facility! We, as a family, cannot express how truly thankful we are to have found the compassionate care that our loved one needed for her mental health needs! -

I was at The Wave for two months. Almost every staff member I came in contact with was very kind and helpful when I needed them to be. The intake process took a long time, just because they had to go through all of my luggage and ask some … More background questions. I will tell you though: it's hard. It's a hard thing to stay in a house (that isn't your own) with a bunch of women you don't know for a month, just to improve your mental health.
But, I did it. I went on great outings, did multiple sessions of group therapy everyday, along with seeing my personal therapist twice a week, and I also did ART (another form of therapy) while I was there. The nurses were stellar and all had my best interest at heart. None of them were rude or harsh in any way. The techs were the same; they're all very hard-working and I can tell how hard they work every single day.
I only had two major issues while I was at the wave: the psychiatrist, and an incident that had happened amongst the women.
The psychiatrist at the wave could not care less about her job and her clients. I met with her once a week, over zoom, and she could barely look me in the eye. She completely invalidated my newest mental health diagnosis, "because it wasn't done by a professional, and your therapist isn't a professional"; she was also just very rude and snippy whenever my mom tried to get involved with my treatment, sneerily telling her she's not a pharmacist and that she "doesn't know anything about medicine". Overall, she's a very rude individual and I hope someday they hire someone else to take her place.
The other thing was an incident involving me and another woman while we were there. I had $60 stolen out of my room, and she had $20. However, despite me getting fully reimbursed, it isn't something that should've been able to happen in the first place. I walked around this place for weeks feeling so comfortable with everybody around me, and having my money stolen, knowing it was one of the women in the house, was very disheartening to me.
However, I will tell you one thing. In the two months I was there, I met so so many amazing women and watched so many of them leave. I have never met a nicer group of women in my entire life, and that is something I will remember for the rest of my life. -

The Wave is amazing and helped me get through my issues with PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. They give you tools to practice and use to get you through episodes. There is no magical cure for these issues. They spend 30 plus days teaching … More you the tools you need to navigate life's ups and downs.
The tools that you learn here take practice and a willingness to give it a try. The tribe of amazing women you meet who completely understand you is unimaginable until you are actually here. I am so glad I went. The 30 days I spent at the Wave helped me become a better mom, a better wife, a better boss, a better employee and a better citizen. You cannot pour from an empty cup and mine was completely dry. Yes, it is very expensive. That expense is what kept me from going sooner. But I encourage you to talk to them and look into payment plans. They worked with me because they wanted to help me get better.
There are logistical issues here and there just like any company in the country. But the staff is amazing and very willing to adjust. Raven made several changes the same day when issues came up in the weekly community meetings with the residents. They are trying to make a positive impact in the world of mental health where unfortunately, help is so limited and is often more damaging. We truly need more facilities like the Wave in this country.
The ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) I received at the Wave changed my life. If you suffer from PTSD, you have no idea all of the areas of your life that it effects, including your physical health. If you have PTSD, I beg you to look into this. -

We were at a complete loss when my daughter had another breakdown and I didnt know where to turn. The facilities that she had been too in the past had offered her nothing more than a cold sandwich, a cot, and close interactions with male … More patients who were older and intimidating. I wanted her to go to a place like the celebrity types go too-only I dont have celebrity money. I wanted her to go to a place where SHE would be taken care of, her entire being and not just her diagnosis. I found that at The WAVE. The first phone call was so supportive and I was surprised that even on a weekend someone was available to answer my questions. We went on a tour that Monday and I was impressed with the building and the way everyone greeted us. Of course this type of care comes at a cost. But the process was explained to me beforehand. They offered a payment plan that was reasonable and I took it. I was surprised that a place of this caliber would even consider doing that, taking payments over a period of time. But they did. And I am grateful. I will always be grateful. My daughter was saved. She is learning how to manage, how to cope and how to live. But even more so she is learning how to just BE HERSELF. I will forever be grateful for this facility, and the people. -

The staff is amazing! They worked fast and hard to help me get my sister in ASAP. She was lost and i didn’t know where to turn. They made the process of admitting easy. They fought with her insurance to ensure she was be able to come in. … More They even worked out a payment plan for her portion and made sure she was not stressing those things so she could focus on her treatment. She has made remarkable turn around sense her stay there. They even check on her monthly and offered us family sessions. They went above and beyond and with all the problems with insurance companies they made it easy for her to get the help she needed. Our family is forever grateful. I would recommend this place to anyone. They actually care! I would personally like to thank The owner Chris for not making us wait and allowing us to get her in so fast. You can tell when someone has good intentions. -

There are not enough words to express how thankful we are to have found The Wave for our daughter when we needed help for her. The staff are amazing! We brought her in on a holiday weekend, and they rallied around her with such a caring … More and upbeat attitude to make her feel safe and welcome. The place is beautiful and clean, and our daughter felt safe and cared for during her month long stay. We would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone. We only wish there were more treatment centers like this one! -
